Autumn has come and almost gone.

It has been quite a while since I blogged. Crazy quilt projects and family health issues have kept me away, not to mention trying to keep up with my daily blog. Enough excuses, I am back and the leaves are turning here in Indiana.
Its time for mums....
and apples.... and cleaning up the last of the garden. My yard is filled with leaves but I haven't had time to do anything about that so I will let the wind blow them away this year. It isn't easy trying to keep up a yard, garden, hobby and home and I have learned not to fret about it.
Stop and smell the roses remember?
The Japanese lanterns are turning orange. I will harvest them for dried arrangements.
Autumn is here and soon we will be forced to stay indoors so I suggest you create vignettes sprinkled about your home to reflect on when the white stuff begins falling. On this little shelf in the hallway I have gathered several items made by friends with a bird theme. This will certainly bring a smile to my face each time I pass it.
Enjoy every day because you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
